But let's be honest, running a one-person business can feel like juggling ten different jobs at once.

One minute you're creating content. The next you're replying to emails, updating your website, writing newsletters, planning social media, researching ideas and trying to squeeze in time for your actual clients.

Sound familiar? That's exactly why AI has become such an important part of my business.

I use AI to help me research ideas, organise my thoughts, brainstorm content, improve my writing and streamline repetitive tasks. It takes care of the busy work so I can focus on the things that genuinely move my business forward - building relationships, creating valuable content and serving my clients.

But here's something I've discovered - the real magic isn't just using AI. It's giving AI a job.

Rather than treating ChatGPT as one tool that does everything, I've started building my own team of Custom GPTs - each with a specific role.

For example, I have CopyBuddy, my AI copywriting assistant. It helps me brainstorm ideas, refine messaging, write newsletters and create marketing content in my voice.

Then there's Get Shit Done, my execution partner. It helps me prioritise projects, stay focused, break big ideas into manageable actions and keep moving forward when my to-do list starts taking over.

Each GPT has a clear purpose, just like a member of a real team.

That simple shift has transformed the way I work.

Instead of asking one AI to do everything, I've built specialist assistants that support different parts of my business.
